The Lohana Community traces its roots to ancient merchant and warrior traditions of the Indian subcontinent, with historical presence across Sindh, Punjab, and Gujarat. Lohanas migrated across the world through centuries, establishing settlements and community organizations in Africa, Europe, and beyond.
The Lohana Community of Kampala emerged as a dedicated body to bring together Lohana families in Uganda's capital, fostering unity, preserving traditions, and engaging in social development. Our history reflects a tapestry of cultural pride, resilient spirit, and collaborative growth that binds generations together.
